Jeffrey Grace

Executive Chairman

A graduate of The University of Kansas (Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management)  and Wichita State University (MBA in finance), Jeff began his career at IMA Financial Group, Inc., where he eventually served as the financial services company’s president of two different divisions. IMA, an ESOP ownership company,  was where he met members of P&E’s leadership team, who invited Jeff to serve on P&E’s board of directors when the company converted to an ESOP in 2016.

“P&E has an infectious culture: They take care of their customers and their employees,” Jeff says. “I had known the leaders of this company for twenty years before joining the board of directors. Time and time again, they would always do the right thing for their customers, their employees and the community.”

P&E’s values drew him to the company, and his previous experience running ESOP companies aligned with P&E’s needs. He relishes both developing P&E’s up and coming leaders and building the organization’s capabilities. His goals for P&E include expanding its heavy industry services and its geographic footprint.

“‘Humbly confident’ is P&E’s value that means the most to me,” says Jeff. “P&E knows every step in our customers’ project lifecycle and has continued to evolve our capabilities accordingly. Whether self-performing mechanical and electrical services over the past 75+ years or construction management services, P&E focuses in our market segments where we have market-leading experience and can add the most value.”

Outside of the office, Jeff likes to spend time with his wife and two teenagers. You can find him competing in triathlons, cheering for KU and enjoying family lake weekends.
